Therese + Tony | Private Estate

We are in love with Therese + Tony’s romantic private estate wedding. You couldn’t find a more unique and interesting couple. Therese technically titled “Lady Therese”, crowned in Ireland and hailing from the St Thomas family, heirs to the Guinness Empire, and groom, a decorated USN pilot, these two had impeccable taste. Their affair was one with intimate purpose, only 11 guests joined at a Private Estate setting where the two held a Celtic Knot ceremony, lawn cocktails, and a 4 course meal fit for a king. Our team created a sophisticated design that paid tribute to Therese’s Irish heritage while keeping certain elements relaxed so that Tony’s family would feel right at home. Therese will later hold another ceremony in Ireland among her family members. Although small in guest count, the night sacrificed nothing in accommodations. From curated cocktails to sweet tooth delicacies, their guests were surprised with goodies around every corner. Cheers,

Regan + Joe | White Sparrow Barn

Who would ever imagine we would get 35 degree weather in April?! Well that’s exactly what we all woke up to on the wedding day of Regan & Joe. But it didn’t stress Regan in the least because she was ready to be Joe’s wife, no matter the situation. The two met in 3rd grade and grew up to be each other’s best friend and eventually dated, leaving the rest as history. With a quick weather plan B, our team set a circular ceremony in the balcony. I have to say I think it ended up lovelier than our lawn plan. 🙂 After the ceremony, guests made their way downstairs for pop cocktails and yummy passed bites while the upstairs was transformed into dining! And check out that ceremony altar transformation in bar statement. BRILLIANT!! There was a lot of thinking on our toes but HEY, that’s what it takes and Regan + Joe enjoyed a perfect day!! We can’t control the weather but we can control the plan!

They chose the White Sparrow Barn for their venue and our team was put to work to curate an incredible team and design. Their families are very close, so we chose a design that brought that to the forefront. With approachable settings, a family style passed meal and little nods to their traditions like “Nini’s Homemade Vanilla Icrecream” being served to guests, the two really brought a sense of home to the barn.

We just adore these two! Thank you for letting us take part in your most amazing day!!  Cheers,

Our inspiration : “a picturesque Parisian inspired apartment and garden in OldTown, filled with rich history and charming details. We paid very close attention to movement, texture and composition throughout from loosely tied florals by LES PETITE EXCUSES, hand painted watercolor calligraphy by SOMEDAY ART CO. and intricate illustrations of our chateau to delicate lace details in our bridal garb.” Beautiful light filled images by ELLEN ASHTON bring it all to life.

Allison + Bryce | Trinity Park

We are in love with Allison + Bryce’s beautiful wedding in the park. The couple wanted their big day to be intentional, intimate and centered around family. So we were put to work transforming The Trinity Shelter House built in 1937 with it’s beautiful historic brick, beams and arches. We kept the design organic and simple. With a fall palette of rich golds, deep reds and heavy foliage, we created an inviting night filled with family style food and flickering candle/luminary lighting. The two tied the knot with close family and friends and then guests transitioned into dinner with Fort Worth’s beautiful skyline in the background. From blankets and lawn games to live music and local sweets, the two made sure there was love and purpose throughout the night!

Liz + Hunter | Modern Art Museum

Houston residents, Liz + Hunter grew up in Fort Worth and since that’s where their love story started, it only made sense to come back for their wedding. They chose Broadway Baptist where both of their parents were married. We keep the ceremony space simple with flanking arrangements and tons of votive candlelight on the wood carved altar walls to pay tribute to the simplicity of their own parent’s weddings.  Liz wanted a natural feel of garden paired with their reception venue, the Modern Art Museum. Our team had to create a design that felt soft and approachable like the outdoors but inside the walls of the museum. Because of venue limitations on hanging, etc we partnered with Beyond Lighting to bring in heavy lighting posts that would basically allow us to hang cafe stringer lighting indoors as though we were outdoors. We affixed greenery to our lights, again giving texture with lighting and height making an illustration of garden seating. Soft dove grey linens paired with simple floral in white, grey and heavy greens gave the perfect complement to the concrete/grey walls of the Modern. We popped other details of garden inspired items such as the hedge wall for the escort card display, low hedging playing facade to our band setup, wooden bar fronts and furniture vignettes near the reflecting pool. The cake was simple and modern with a grey wash of color near the top tier. Floral detail behind and in front to show how lovely the blooms and architecture become one.

Lauren + Hunter | Private Ranch

Our team had the pleasure of transforming this beautiful Spanish inspired estate for Lauren + Hunter’s big day. The beautiful home’s architecture and 70 acre ranch was the perfect setting to become inspired. We specialize in outdoor wedding logistics and knew a beautiful sperry tent was a must in the unpredictable weather that is Texas. This palette was a favorite and complemented the transition of summer tones like pink and peach into fall tones of brown and burgundy. The ceremony altar was constructed by a freestanding and freely formed arch. Guests were greeted with a glass of bubbles, stringed musicians and beautiful seating looking out at the family’s ranch where cattle had free roam. Our bride’s wedding party wore deep burgundy and carried loosely tied blooms. The groom and groomsmen wore shades of navy and grays.

After the ceremony, cocktails and light bites made way around the beautiful property whether by the pool, overlooking the pond or on the immaculately manicured lawn. Moving into dinner, our tables were dressed in a soft pale gray with floral in fall tones. As the Texas sun set, the tent began to glow and lights twinkled throughout the night over the open air, wood dance floor. We used loose greens and candlelight throughout to soften our tent and infuse a romantic feel. Our cake design was sweet and approachable with a subtle watercolor detail and fresh blooms.

Styled Editorial | California Coast Inspiration

Anyone that knows me knows how much I am in love with California. The variances in landscape and terrain is remarkable. I like to plan a few trips there each year just to get inspired, make new vendor relationships and create fresh content. This trip was all of this and so much more. We were able to connect as a team and create something truly beautiful. Our design was influenced from the beautiful, historic mission of San Juan Capristrano with it’s terracotta walkways, over-sized cacti, and gorgeous arched walkways. All of my favorite things at once!! Our palette complemented it’s environment with rusty shades of gold, creams and brown/reds with a blue tone in the fabric for an unexpected pop. Our table setting was constructed from a primitive wood table and bentwood chair pairing. Floral vessels were a trio of vintage terracotta pots that gave a design lending of being unearthed. They referenced beautifully back to the influence of the mission. With a soft, organic blue fabric that pooled to the sides of the table and dramatically dripping taper candles, who would NOT want to dine at this dreamy scape?! We used hand turned ceramic dinnerware and a knotted simple linen napkin to keep our table relate-able. The purpose was the fit the design within the environment, not to compete. Loving details can be found throughout, from hand drawn illustration of the mission to beautiful jewelry, and one very stunning bride.
