Although Courtney and David met in 6th grade, the trials and tribulations of attending rival high schools kept them apart. After graduation however, the two picked up right where they left off. With David playing baseball for the LA Angels of Anaheim, it meant their relationship would be filled with weekend visits and Skype dates.
A couple years later, David was back home with Courtney during a break before Spring Training. He led her to believe an engagement was out of the question so close to the start of the season. He would need to keep his head in the game. So naturally Courtney wasn’t at all suspicious during a dinner with a group of friends the day after Valentine’s Day. Obviously she was shocked when David got down on one knee and proposed. She said yes and quickly began to plan their winter wedding.
Courtney looked beautiful in her blush Vera Wang gown that perfectly complemented her vintage fur wrap and delicate up-do. Holding a bouquet of eucalyptus, succulents and pale pink and peach roses, Courtney and David said their “I Dos” against a backdrop of shimmering gold curtains and lanterns. The backdrop served a dual purpose for the reception and became a picturesque setting for the head table. Tables were flowing with greenery and a touch of glam was added with gold chargers. Lanterns containing tea lights lent a beautiful glow and perfectly played off the golden sparkle of the dessert table.
The two lovebirds danced the night away before heading off in a classy black and white ‘57 Chevy to their honeymoon in Mexico. The happy couple sure knocked it out of the park!
