Party Like a Pineapple

For the pineapple of my eye, nothing could have been more perfect for my Saylor Rue. We partied like pineapples with fun tropical themed cookies, sweets,
pineapple drinks, and a fun and festive table setting for the littles. Kiddo’s enjoyed a blow up water slide for entertainment, hotdogs for a yummy treat, while adults played croquet.

My Saylor Rue turns 4!

Birthday celebrations should always be big! My little Rue only turns 4 once right?! Saylor LOVES ponies so we threw her a derby inspired party smack dab in the hottest month of the year! 😉 Thanks to my fab team who helped pull it all together: The beautiful blooms from RLOVE floral, photography by Jacqueline Spivey, rentals from Taylors Fort Worth, the vintage Shasta turned very cool photo booth by Photo Wagon, the sweetest little white pony ever from Ewe Pets, cake and mini donuts from Cakewalk Bake Shop and beautiful paper and invitation suite from Caroline Creates. Of course, the party was planned and designed by mommy, Grit + Gold. Party décor hunted and gathered from the OH JOY! line, TomKat Studio, and Poppytalk.

Shine On My Little Saylor

My darling little Saylor is featured in Dallas Child, print and blog, for her 3 year old party! The theme… You are a Sunshine. So fitting for the light of my life. We are underway with plans for the BIG FOUR.

Saylor Rue|Turns 3|Perot Museum

My sweet Saylor Rue! The first song I ever sung to you.

You Are My Sunshine
My only sunshine.

Please don’t take my sunshine away

We celebrated Saylor turning 3 at the Moody Family Children’s Museum at Perot in Dallas. The theme was “You are my Sunshine”. Just simple and sweet details such as the “Drops of Sunshine” station where the kiddos enjoyed decorating their own cupcakes with assorted sprinkles. And the lemon whirly pops were a huge hit! The kids played on the playground which replicates some of Dallas’ top sites to see: the skyline of Dallas playground, Farmer’s Market, and much more! The party favors were planting sets with Daisy seeds for each little one to start their own sunshine garden. Then once the party wrapped, everyone toured the museum and of course, the main attraction: the DINOSAURS!
