Sarah + Jeremy’s romantic Fort Worth wedding

They say it’s never a good idea to date a roommate but that didn’t stop Sarah & Jeremy from testing the water. After meeting one night while out for drinks with friends, Jeremy, who was new to the area, mentioned he was looking for a place to live. As luck would have it, Sarah was in the market for another roommate and soon enough, the new friends and their sweet dogs were roomies. Two months into their new living situation they began dating and a short year later, they were engaged!

The ceremony was held at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and the couple’s first-look photos took place in the Cactus Garden. Sarah looked like a princess complete with tulle skirt and a floral crown of ranunculus, ferns and sea holly placed perfectly over her romantic fishtail braid. Sarah held a dreamy bouquet filled with white spirea, clematis and snapdragons with pale pink roses, berry scabiosas and even an artichoke.

After saying their vows in the Fuller Garden, the party headed over to 809 at Vickery where the floral theme continued. Golden candlesticks and chargers were accented with floral table numbers and place settings. Sweet buds created a whimsical backdrop for the dessert table holding some of the couple’s favorites like German Chocolate and Confetti Cake. Guests not only sipped on local Texas brews, but also enjoyed a few Kansas originals as an ode to Jeremy’s Midwestern roots. The adorable blue and white Photo Wagon and amazing band kept family and friends laughing throughout the evening.

Guests bid the newlyweds adieu in an entanglement of streamers before they headed off to their Jamaican honeymoon.
