Meredith + Josh | Ashton Depot

This Tuscany inspired wedding is so dear to me. Meredith + Josh, their family and their trust in our team is the epitome of why I started my planning + design business. With her mother and father living in California, she need full-service assistance to pull together her day. Josh proposed in Napa Valley and California was near and dear to them both, so it only made sense to bring that Napa/Old World feel to them in Fort Worth. While most might just see Fort Worth history in the walls of the Ashton Depot, we felt that it’s historic marble floors and towering arched windows could definitely take on a different transformation. So we set to work designing a soft, romantic scene that would tie the two very different places together.

First we started with her ceremony which took place in the terrace of the Ashton. We wanted to emphasize the beautiful, natural greenery that already adorns the space along with a beautiful stone water feature. We kept it natural, free flowing on the floral arch and paired with native grass and greenery planters to enclose the space making it feel like a garden.

And what guest can resist a glass of champagne to greet them on a beautiful Texas Spring day?! Guests sipped while they waiting for the processional to begin.

Moving into the ballroom, we chose pale dusty blue linens and florals heavy in organic greenery, soft creams, white and hints of dusty blush blooms. A draped entrance provided a simple, yet statement entrance.

The father of the bride’s favorite Padron cigars were a must so our team made sure to set a beautiful spread for him and all his guys!

Engaged | Elizabeth + Brian

Where to start… I knew the moment they wanted to hold their consultation at Wine Thief that we were destined to be a great match. I have so enjoyed the planning and design process for Elizabeth + Brian’s Fort Worth wedding. They are reminders of why I do what I do. Getting to know them more has been such a pleasure so these photos mean a lot to our team! As you can see they have a deep love for their fur babies which we always appreciate! Meet Elizabeth, Brian, Hollis + Luna (who by the way also have their own instagram pages)!!

Fine Art in the Fort

Our team was super excited to plan and design a special fine art dinner to welcome Kate Holland, editor of Magnolia Rouge to Fort Worth. We scouted a very cool new venue spot on Race Street called The Post at River East. The venue was once home to Sylvania Station Post Office built in 1946. At some point in its history, the building burned and the walls have patina’d from age. They are simply beautiful and make such a cool California meets Texas vibe for any cool kids looking for something really unique.

A Styled Project with Haystack Film

Several months ago we were asked to join The Haystack Film Community, a group of fine art film photographers, as their project stylist. We are finally sharing one set of images from the many talented photographers that were on site. We were honored to be included, to style for such incredibly talented photographers, and to see a community built on support and encouragement. And there is even a rare sighting of Lottie behind the scenes. Images by Charla Storey.
