Cara + Derek | Marie Gabrielle

Cara & Derek are a fun-loving, vibrant couple who are always on the go!  These two cuties share an affinity for their fur babies (as evidenced in their adorable day of photos with their precious pups), and are Dallasites through and though.  Their ceremony took place at  Highland Park Presbyterian Church, a timelessly classic grand cathedral built in 1928.  Florals were lush, in pastel blush and peach, with beautiful bright peonies, paired exquisitely with delicate greenery accents.  Maids wore chiffon gowns of grey from Bella Bridesmaids, while the bride wore a stunning strapless gown and custom veil from Patsy’s Bridal.  Classic elegance at its best, Cara and Derek’s reception took place at Marie Gabrielle, a garden-like oasis in the heart of downtown Dallas.  Guests dined under the trees, casually mingling over romantic candlelight. While the wedding party sat at a sprawling head table complete with a floating chandelier overhead, and an opulence of dazzling blooms and greenery.  In keeping with our overall classic design, the cake was nothing short of a grand affair.  This beautiful frosted 4 tier cake from Frosted Art Bakery was adorned with fresh floral, and was a perfect representation of this whimsical garden celebration.  From beginning to end, every detail of Cara and Derek’s wedding was a thoughtful expression of their genuine love.

Private Ranch wedding in Glenrose Texas

Check out this beautiful spring wedding we did in Glen Rose, TX! The lovely couple couldn’t imagine a better place to say their “I Do’s” than Groom Jamie’s family ranch in Glenrose, TX. The 12,000 acre Ten Triple X Ranch had more than enough space for their 200+ guests.

Sunflowers lined the aisle of their non-traditional outdoor ceremony. Bridesmaids, sans bouquets, made their way to the altar in strapless papaya dresses. Bride Taylor, with her hair pulled softly away from her face, was escorted down the aisle by her father as she made her way towards Jamie. The couple swapped vows under a cedar tree arbor strewn with greenery as friends and family looked on.

Guests made their way into the barn where potted cactus centerpieces and gold chargers graced the tabletop. Lights hung from the rafters of the 1850’s barn succeeded in lending a magical feel to the evening. Arrangements of orange poppies, pink peonies and assorted ranunculus allowed the sunflowers to pop. An eight-piece band set the stage for a lively celebration as guests hit the dance floor and dined on Tex-Mex.
